China's medical products regulator approves the Ion endoluminal system

China's NMPA approved Intuitive's Ion endoluminal system and related catheters for lung navigation and biopsy. The system's thin fibre-optic catheter reaches deeper airways than comparable devices, lowering complication risks such as pneumothorax and bleeding.
