Byrnecut orders AutoMine loading systems for five underground mines in Australia and Namibia
Byrnecut, the world's largest underground mining contractor, placed five AutoMine orders in the first quarter of 2026. All five mines get autonomous loading, and four also get automated drilling, letting one surface operator run up to three loaders.
- Sites: Gwalia, Ulysses, Youanmi, Gossan Valley (Australia) and Navachab (Namibia).
- AutoMine Multi-Lite at all five; AutoMine for Underground Drilling at four.
- Removes production lost at shift changes and keeps workers away from dust, noise and vibration.
