BYD announces God's Eye assisted driving system across its entire vehicle lineup

BYD announced God's Eye Level 2 driver assistance will be standard on all BYD models, from entry-level cars under 100,000 yuan to premium vehicles over 200,000 yuan. The system comes in three tiers with progressively more sensors and capabilities, starting with cameras, millimeter-wave radar and ultrasonic sensors for obstacle detection and automated emergency braking and steering.

  • Available on all BYD models, including the Seagull at 70,000 yuan
  • Three tiers: God's Eye C (cameras/radar/ultrasonic), B (adds single LiDAR), A (triple-LiDAR for flagship models)
  • Detects obstacles and enables automated emergency steering and braking for pedestrians and stationary vehicles
  • Integrates DeepSeek's R1 AI model with central processing and 5G connectivity
