BlackSky completes SPAC merger; begins trading as BKSY on NYSE
BlackSky Global merged with Osprey Technology Acquisition Corp. and began trading on the New York Stock Exchange under ticker BKSY on September 10, 2021. The merger closed on September 9 and brought in approximately $283M in gross proceeds, combining funds from Osprey's trust and PIPE financing, to fund constellation expansion. BlackSky operated seven satellites at merger completion.
