Biren Technology shows BR100 GPU at Hot Chips 34

At Hot Chips 34 in August 2022, Biren Technology unveiled the BR100, a 7nm GPU with 77 billion transistors built from two chiplets. The BR100 reaches 1 PFLOP/s BF16 and 2,048 TOPS INT8, with 64 GB of HBM2e memory, targeting AI training workloads for Chinese datacenters facing US export controls.
