Arm announced the AGI CPU, marking the company's first entry into proprietary silicon manufacturing after 35 years of licensing. Built on TSMC's 3nm process with up to 136 Neoverse V3 cores, the chip targets AI inference at data center scale. Meta is the first customer and co-development partner, along with Cerebras, Cloudflare, F5, OpenAI, Positron, Rebellions, SAP, and SK Telecom.
