Archer unveils Midnight, its production-intent piloted eVTOL
Archer unveiled Midnight at an open house in Palo Alto on 17 November 2022, its production-intent electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft evolved from the Maker demonstrator. The aircraft accommodates a pilot and four passengers, uses Archer's proprietary 12-tilt-6 configuration, and is designed for repeated 20-mile trips with approximately 10 minutes of charging between flights at roughly 2,000 feet altitude.

- Produces approximately 45 decibels noise level, substantially quieter than helicopters
