Anthropic released the Claude 3 family in three sizes: Haiku (fastest), Sonnet and Opus (most capable). Opus beat rival models on most standard benchmarks; Opus and Sonnet went live in claude.ai and the API in 159 countries, with Haiku following.

• Opus outperforms peers on benchmarks for expert knowledge, reasoning and basic maths.
• Haiku reads a 10K-token research paper in under three seconds; Sonnet is 2x faster than Claude 2/2.1.
• 200K-token context window; 1M+ tokens available for select customers.
• Near-perfect recall (>99% accuracy) on information retrieval; improved analysis and forecasting.
