Anthropic agrees to rent all of Colossus 1's capacity from SpaceX through May 2029

Anthropic secured exclusive access to Colossus 1, a Memphis supercomputer with over 220,000 NVIDIA H100, H200 and GB200 GPUs, through May 2029. The arrangement aims to add capacity for Claude Pro and Max subscribers. Anthropic and SpaceX also announced plans to explore building gigawatts of AI compute in orbit to address constraints of terrestrial power, land and cooling.
