Amazon successfully launches 29 more Leo satellites; 398 launched total, 396 in orbit; beta service launching autumn 2026

United Launch Alliance deployed the final 29 Amazon Leo satellites on an Atlas V rocket on July 2, bringing the total launched to 398 and in-orbit to 396. Amazon announced that enough satellites are now positioned to begin initial (beta) service in autumn 2026, with full commercial service to follow. The full constellation of 3,200 satellites is targeted for 2029.
