Amazon Proteus gains natural language, commits €10B to European robotics expansion
Amazon unveiled next-generation Proteus with natural-language processing at its London event, letting workers command the robot without programming expertise. The company announced €10 billion investment to modernize European fulfillment and delivery operations, deploying Proteus, Vulcan, Sequoia and STARK robots across hundreds of sites. European rollout is planned for H1 2027, with plans to create 25,000 new jobs across the region.
