AlphaGenome published in Nature and released as open weights
DeepMind published AlphaGenome in Nature and made the model itself available, after seven months of API-only access. By then more than 3,000 scientists were using the API, sending about a million requests a day.
- Combines convolutional layers, transformers and a module that turns sequence features into molecular predictions.
- Runs on a single Nvidia H100 GPU.
- Weights published on Kaggle and Hugging Face, with code on GitHub.
