ABB Robotics, Universal Robots, MiR, NVIDIA and Foxconn partner to use the Skild Brain; Foxconn uses it on GPU system assembly
ABB Robotics, Universal Robots, MiR, NVIDIA and Foxconn announced partnership to use Skild Brain for warehouse and assembly automation. Foxconn is deploying it on NVIDIA Blackwell GPU assembly lines, running dual-armed robots for picking, placing busbars, and driving sequences of 16 screws—tasks currently done by people.
- Five-company partnership: ABB, Universal Robots, MiR, NVIDIA, Foxconn committing to Skild Brain integration.
- Foxconn use case: dual-arm robots on Blackwell GPU assembly lines performing intricate, long-horizon assembly tasks.
- Tasks replace human work: component picking, busbar placement, 16-screw driving sequences with real-time adjustment.
- Skild Brain handles precision and setup disturbance recovery; conventional automation would be extremely costly to achieve.
