Automate repetitive factory tasks via physical AI.
Deployed in Rivian factories; learning from operational data.
Updated May 2026Checked 11 Oct0 updates this week
Mind Robotics deploys robots in Rivian's own manufacturing facilities, where they perform assembly and material handling in production environments.
Sensors on production lines and robots, plus manufacturing execution system logs, capture data about task execution, outcomes and environmental conditions.
Models are trained on the collected factory data to predict what actions succeed in different contexts. Models improve as more data is collected.
As robots operate, new data feeds back into the training pipeline. The deployed fleet improves over time, and improvements can be pushed to all robots.
