The brief
- Bilateral nerve stimulation from single subcutaneous implant; external wearable component provides power.
- FDA approved August 2025. Achieved 15% market share in early adopter accounts.
- June 2026: $95M equity round plus $15M EIB loan. Liam Kelly became CEO October 2026.
Technical approach
Hypoglossal nerve stimulation
Electrode stimulates the hypoglossal nerve, which controls tongue muscles. Rhythmic stimulation contracts the tongue forward, preventing airway collapse.
Single implant
Single device placed under the chin, reducing surgical complexity and complication risks versus multi-component systems.
Sleep-synchronous stimulation
Device detects sleep and adjusts stimulation based on breathing, delivering therapy only when needed.
