# Orano completes its NRC licence application for the Project IKE enrichment plant

Orano filed the technical part of its licence application for Project IKE, completing the package it began with an environmental report in January. It covers the integrated safety analysis, criticality, chemical and fire safety, and security and safeguards. Orano says it is the only company in the last 20 years to design and validate such a facility.
