# OpenAI releases GPT-6 Sol and GPT-6 Luna, cheaper models of the GPT-6 family

OpenAI added two faster, cheaper GPT-6 models trained with methods similar to GPT-6 Astra. API prices are half those of the GPT-5.6 versions: Sol at $2/$10 and Luna at $0.10/$0.50 per million input/output tokens. Astra remains the top model.
