# Novo Nordisk buys a Ginkgo autonomous lab for its new US research site in Waltham

Ginkgo will build a robotic lab from its modular automation carts and control software inside Novo Nordisk's new Waltham, Massachusetts R&D site, turning Novo from an outside-services customer into a buyer of Ginkgo hardware. Price and delivery date were not disclosed.
