# Mobileye begins delivering EyeQ6 Lite chips for driver-assist systems launching in 2024

Mobileye delivered the first production-candidate hardware and software of its EyeQ6 Lite chip to carmakers, for driver-assist systems in vehicles launching that year. The chip offers 4.5 times the compute of the EyeQ4M in about half the space at similar power, and supports an 8-megapixel camera with a 120-degree view. It is expected in 46 million vehicles over the next few years.
