# ISRO completes three qualification tests on Gaganyaan crew module systems, including CSU-2 separation

ISRO said on 12 July 2026 that it had finished three qualification tests on crew module systems for the Gaganyaan crewed spaceflight programme. The tests covered the capsule's uprighting system, the separation of an umbilical connector between the crew module and service module, and the apex cover that protects the parachutes.
