# Hexcel unveils HexPly M51 rapid-cure prepreg and HexTow IM11-R fibre for pressure vessels at JEC World

At JEC World 2026 Hexcel showed HexPly M51, a prepreg that cures in 40 minutes at 180 °C for high-rate press moulding of aircraft structures, and HexTow IM11-R, a fibre sized for winding composite pressure tanks. Faster cures matter because slow autoclave cycles limit how many aircraft parts a line can make.
