Absolics first targeted mass production in 2024, then 2025, then customer approval in early 2026; SKC's latest filing gave no production date. A sample went to a US chip customer for reliability testing, and SKC raised about ₩1.17T this spring, roughly half for Absolics.

## Key facts

- Embedded design could cut package height from 3.9 mm to 1.8 mm, by the company's account.
- The process has about 190 steps; glass can crack, and drilling, plating and cutting remain hard.
- SEMI expects meaningful glass substrate volume only around 2028.
