# First Solar licenses Oxford PV's perovskite patents for US manufacturing

First Solar signed a non-exclusive licence to Oxford PV's issued and pending US perovskite patents, covering possible US manufacturing and sale of perovskite products but excluding silicon-based cells. First Solar already runs a development line in Perrysburg, Ohio, making small perovskite modules to study efficiency and stability.
