# ESA splits Euclid's first big data release: images in November 2026, cosmology products in mid-2027

ESA said Euclid's Data Release 1 will come in two stages. DR1-Foundation, due in November 2026, will release raw data, calibrated images, catalogues and spectra covering about 1,900 square degrees. The higher-level products for galaxy clustering and weak lensing, which drive the dark-energy results, follow in mid-2027 because they need more time to process and validate.
