Elemind's first product reads EEG, isolates the 8-12 Hz alpha rhythm and plays pink-noise bursts through a bone-conduction speaker timed to the troughs, suppressing alpha so light sleep can take over. In a clinical trial, 76% of subjects fell asleep faster, and among them time to sleep dropped 48% on average.

## Key facts

- Beta preorders at $349, plus an optional $7-13/month membership
- Company had raised $12M and had 13 employees
- Planned: delta-wave stimulation for deeper sleep; studies on pain under sedation and memory
