The roadmap describes the full pipeline: execution client produces a witness, a standard guest program validates the block inside a zkVM, a prover makes the proof and the consensus client verifies it. Work is split into six themes, from standard zkVM interfaces to formal verification.

## Key facts

- Consensus specs would change so beacon nodes can verify proofs during block validation.
- GPU prover code is to stay open source; provers are tracked on Ethproofs.
- ePBS in Glamsterdam widens the proving window from 1–2 s to 6–9 s, a key dependency.
