In a post dated October 16, Circle said about $819 million of its roughly $1.4 billion first-half 2026 revenue went to USDC partners and transaction costs. About a third went back into licenses, bank relationships, settlement liquidity, compliance and new products, leaving 7 cents of net profit per revenue dollar.

## Key facts

- About $473 million, roughly 34 cents per dollar, went to licenses, bank relationships, settlement liquidity, compliance, new products and blockchain integrations.
- USDC handled more than $36 trillion of onchain volume in the first half, and Circle says it had roughly 77% of global stablecoin transaction volume in June.
- Coinbase held a record average of $20 billion in USDC in its products in the second quarter, up 44% year over year.
- Binance bought $100 million of Circle stock as part of a five-year commercial deal.
