SkyFall is a Ukrainian drone maker that started in June 2022, months into Russia's full-scale invasion. It builds the Vampire night-flying drone, Shrike FPV drones and the P1-SUN interceptor that Ukraine uses against Shahed attack drones.

## In brief

- P1-SUN has hit more than 5,500 Shaheds since November 2025, SkyFall says; Reuters could not verify the figure.
- Says it can build up to 50,000 interceptors a month.
- Unveiled the faster P1-SUN JetKiller for jet-powered Shaheds at Farnborough in July 2026.

## Facts

## Programs

- [P1-SUN](https://technooptimist.io/aviation/p1-sun.md) (Aviation): Scaling; next: JetKiller serial production (Aug 2026). In mass use since Nov 2025; faster JetKiller version for jet Shaheds entering production

## Technical approach

- **3D printing: Printed modular airframes**: P1-SUN's airframe is 3D-printed in modules, so output can scale fast and designs change in weeks.
- **Front-line input: Designed with troops**: Units that fly the drones feed back changes directly, and new versions follow the enemy's latest drones.

## Open problems

- **Jet-powered Shaheds** (active research): Jet Shaheds fly up to about 500 km/h, faster than the original P1-SUN, forcing a faster and costlier design.
